Meet Our Owner

Frederick Skyline C.F. was created by Joel Ramirez. 

Ramirez started playing soccer at the age of 5, with a love for a game that drew him to Tuscarora High School, Frederick Community College, and local club teams! Joel currently serves in the Army National Guard, works locally in Frederick and a father of two young boys; He bring a men's and women's team to Frederick by bridging the gap of endless opportunity for the athletes in the D(M)V area, creating a soccer culture in Frederick like no other. Creating the motto of "Unite and believe, the sky's the limit." hammering down on the true meaning behind Skyline and the team's goal. Together Joel knows Frederick can be a staple within our area and in the soccer community.

Joel is also president of local non-profit Skyline Sports Union Corporation, an organization that provides low-income athletes the opportunity to play "club" level soccer at an affordable rate. Joel saw this opportunity to break the endless cycle of "pay to play" giving the parents affordable rates for their soccer stars to perform happily with an end goal of free soccer.
